Acacia Xanthophloea most commonly known as the fever tree is a tree which can attain a height of up to 15 to 25 meters, it has an attractive appearance and is a deciduous to semi deciduous tree.
It has well spread crown which is flat at the top and is sparsely foliated. The bark of the tree is lime green and has a luminous feel to it. The color of the bark can be sometimes greenish yellow too.
There are long white thorns straight in shape and are arranged in pairs. They are more randomly found on the young acacia xanthophloea trees than on the older ones.
