Germination tips

  • Sow: Sprinkle seeds on the surface of a well-draining seed mix; lightly press them in.
  • Do not bury deeply: Seeds need light to germinate.
  • Temperature: 20–25°C is ideal.
  • Moisture: Keep the medium consistently moist but never waterlogged.
  • Germination: Usually 1–4 weeks.
  • Transplant: Move seedlings carefully once they have several true leaves.
  • Light: Provide bright light after germination and gradually acclimatize to full sun.

Tip: Eucalyptus seeds are very small, so mixing them with a little fine sand can make even sowing easier.
