Short Description:
Gardenia jasminoides is a popular evergreen shrub admired for its glossy dark-green foliage and highly fragrant, creamy-white flowers. It is an excellent choice for containers, patios, borders, and tropical or subtropical gardens.
Germination Tips:
Soak fresh seeds in water for 12–24 hours before sowing.
Sow seeds about 0.5–1 cm deep in a well-draining, acidic seed-starting mix.
Keep the soil consistently moist, never soggy.
Maintain a warm temperature of around 22–28°C.
Place in bright, indirect light while seedlings are developing.
